Goodbye Glenn Ford

A short note as I am posting away from home.

I heard that Glenn Ford passed away today at the age of 90. He starred in some wonderful movies: Cimmaron, The Teahouse of The August Moon, The Man From Colorado, The Desperadoes, Cowboy - and the list goes on and on.

He never won an Oscar. In my humble opinion that is probably a compliment.

A great one. Rest in Peace.

Aww, this makes me sad. I hadn't heard. I'll have to tell Marlboro Man. He's a big old western fan, and has always liked Glenn Ford.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't even know he was still alive. (okay, pithy comment). He was a great actor in his day!!!

Have been watching U.S. Open constantly and missed the news. Such a loss for the Western Movie World and its fans.

I knew (I'm a day ahead) and was saddened by his passing. But 90 is a good score.

I don't mean that he died the day before where I come from. It's just that the six o'clock evening news here is when you guys are in bed. So I heard last night.
