Dear pamela. Oh no... how did it turn out? Just yukky tasting?
Oh no! that sounds mean. What I MEANT was there must be a story - did it taste bad? Did it curdle?

That's very good advice! I love vanilla soy milk on my cereal, but I imagine it might taste quite strange in a cheese sauce. :)

EWWWWWWWW!!!!!

...or in potato soup.

I'd go for plain. I never use Vanilla soy milk varieties in cooking. But if you are actually putting cheese in the sauce, you might as well use cow milk. At least that is how it seems to me. Next time will surely turn out better.

OH NO YOU DIDN'T!

Dude, even *I* know that. And President Bush has declared my kitchen to be a federal disaster area, eligible for relief. I'm still waiting for FEMA!

I've never bought soy milk. Ewww.

Well I don't like milk at all. Unless it's on cereal.

LOL! Try Lactaid milk. I use it for everything and it tastes just like regular milk....without the vomitting, lol.

lol, clever post!

scary...did you really do this?

I can tell you some horror stories about soy, rice, and almond milks.

Since Wee One was diagnosed w/ the daily allergy last summer, Ive done some experimenting. Most of it not too successful.

For everyone else that asked you what you were thinking, I would probably have thought the same thing.

Thank you for the very helpful information.

Ooh, that sounds like an important thing to keep in mind. Particularly since soy milk is the only kind of milk we keep in stock, owing to my lactose intolerance and all.

Sounds good to me! Just kidding. :P

But really, I like sweet and salty together.
