Fun Monday #24, Relax

Deb at 1CrazyStitcher is todays host - and just wants to see "your favorite place to relax."

The Contessa can relax anywhere. Today she was just letting it all hang out on the couch.

I sat in my favorite relaxing chair. Immediately The Contessa jumped up on me. Lucky for me because I wasn't in the mood to apply make up. And, lucky for you that you didn't have to see me that way. (PS. for all of you who gave advise about hairballs, thanks. I'm going to try the baby food squash. She has never let me brush her, she already eats hair ball formula food, and I smear the petromalt on her legs like a cream cheese on a bagel. It is frustrating.)

The hubby is relaxing in the hammock by the pond. I like to swing there, too. He has ridden his bicycle 135 miles the past few days training for STP. (Thats the Group Health Bicycle Classic in which he will ride a little over 200 miles in one day with his cycling buddies and thousands of others.)

Join the fun and post your favorite place to relax, whether it be a "chair, corner ledge, or limb!" (Deb's quote, not mine.) Head over to Debs melon patch and hang, relax and spit a few seeds with the gang.

Gorgeous cat. I have a chinchilla persian, and seem to spend my entire life combing her tummy to keep her knot free. Beautiful natured cats.

I want to come visit and lie in that hammock by your pond. Wow! What a wonderful place.
If I feed theHansMan baby food sqaush, do you think it will take care of his hair balls?

Contessa sure looks comfortable on the couch!! I really like the hammock... but I would be a bit worried about getting too comfortable, falling asleep, then accidently rolling over to the right and making a big splash in the pond!! ;-)

Contessa is a beauty! I missed the tip about the baby food squash for hairballs. I will be trying that for my Hairball King.
Your pond looks like the perfect place to kickback!

Contessa looks adorable. I've always thought hammocks were so cool, but I have a fear of flipping right over in them which means I avoid them at all costs. Your hubby makes it look easy though.

Love the hammock by the pond. I've always wanted a pond with water trickling down the rocks. That is my next project for sure!

the pond looks great! I could definitely get used to hanging out there...

Contessa is so pretty. I brush Marvin everyday, feed him Purina One advanced hairball formula AND I still find an occasional hairball hacked up-ewey.

Im gonna give the squash a try....if I can get mr. picky picky to EAT it.

The pond is looking good. Give Tessie a scratch for me.

Your garden looks lovely! My favorite place to relax is a sandy beach, sitting as close to the edge of the waves as I can without getting soaked.

Heck yeah Pamela!! I am so excited you know that song!!! I haven't read all my comments yet so you might not be the last, but you are the FIRST! I tried so hard to find a clip of that song to put in my "BLT 4th" post. As soon as I figure out how to post my own copy of the song I am posting just that song!!
I love your pond and hammock!!!

The Contessa...gorgeous...I'm sure you are too, if you weren't hiding behind that big puffball! Funny girl, you are....

Our hammock rotted from living outside in the elements, but yours looks cozy...and clean...and usable! You should've gone and flipped your hubby--THAT would've been a FUNNY picture (the look on his face)...not that I'm encouraging you or anything ;).

The Contessa knows how to chill out! Your hubby deserves to relax after all that training- 200 miles in a day I'm exhausted just thinking about it -knock off a nought and I might manage it!!

Do you ever get the egg beater and massage your husband'd calves like in that French movie?
Hammocks are wonderful!

Can't beat that, I'd even share the hammock with your Hubby...
(If he'd let me!)

Hang on a minute... you feed your husband baby squash for his hairy balls?

Enjoyed...very amusing (we need a hammock like that).

Dang you folks and your hammocks! I need a hammock. Maybe, since it won't stop raining and we can't pour the footing for our house for TWO MORE WEEKS...I'll just string up a hammock amongst my trees and call it done.

Oh, wait, it will rain on me. Dang.

Ooh, love that hammock spot.

Your furniture looks wonderful! That's what my next set will be like ;)

When I saw your hubby's spot, my first thought was "mosquitos". Do they leave him alone?

That's just the prettiest dang pond ever! Cat is cute too. My favorite place to relax is the pool./ :-) Natch.

My Birddog wants a hammock. . .Going to have to check into one like your hubby has - we don't have any trees to tie to!
Looks like you have all varieties of places to relax, really. I'd love to have a hammock. Or a place to hang it up, for that matter.

I'm officially in love with your cat. (Ours died a couple of years ago and I still miss him dearly).

I'd so be hogging the hammock by the pond;). Such a beautiful spot for it!!
