They Walk on Water

Two grandchildren hitched a ride with my eldest brother and his wife from California. They are here for a short and busy weekend. We went to the park and threw Frisbees. We hiked in the hills.

I have proof that they walk on water.

Sort of.

What kid can resist a wall of dirt.

And a victory celebration at the crest.

I took the path, but the satisfaction was just as sweet.

great shots Pam! Wow your granddaughter has gorgeous hair color!

btw: the Leven Thumps books are great for that age kid! And so are the Septimus Heap books (beginning with Magyk) by Angie Sage, and best yet are the Inkheart books by Cornelia Funke.

Oh and my wordpress blog is just a copy of the blogspot blog in case you don't want to comment alone at wordpress lol.. it's a backup. I don't know if you read comments (Ido lol) but any would be at the blogspot site at this addy:

Obviously having no kids of my own, I can't possibly be an expert, but it seems to ma that your most important job is to provide them with memories like these.

Those kids are HUGE. I can hardly believe it. I imagine it was torture for dad and you to hang out with them and take them to the creek. Nice pix mama.

Your pictures are beautiful. I love the walking on water pictures; you had me fooled. Your pictures tell a story, and you can tell that a good time was had by all.
