Excuse Me!!!

Today I am playing with my new widgets and whatnots. Actually, I was working on my Labels.

Suddenly, my Blogline Feed Lights my blog up like a Christmas Tree!!!

Now I understand why I occasionally see 150 posts show up as unread on Bloglines for one of my Blogger pals.

When one is able to use the Label function on Blogger, and find some time to go back in time to add them, then the update is seen as a new published post by Bloglines.

As usual, I'm the last one to know.

Glad you explained that Pamela, bloglines told me you had 17 new posts... started with this current one and then about a dozen I didn't recognize, that was a worry as I was sure I hadn't missed that many since I started to read your blog.
These were obviously old ones that you had just labeled sad part is I had moved on in bloglines and couldn't read them

Yes Pam, I got 17 posts from you as well, but fortunately I recognised them. It's easy enough to see the original posting date on the bloglines screen.

I am so far behin din the blogger world that the word bloglines is a mystery. Labels-- well I've seen them and have often thought how fun they looked. I could label the heck out of my once a month post.
Anyway so happy to stop by for a visit and I LOVE your picture.

Pamela, I loved your empty nest post. I had a wren that did the same thing. When I first heard her, I thought something was getting to her chicks, but they were hopping around getting read to leave 'home'. The next couple of mornings, Momma Wren came back to mourn.

You are NOT last to know! Trust me! I have no idea what you are even talking about lol. I kept my old template and don't mess around with "what works" .. call me old fashion

Don't feel bad, you lost me at blogline feed! So you are not in last place in the techno savvy contest!

In light of the above mentioned comment, it may not surprise you to know I am having trouble commenting, it takes about 15 minutes after I click on it and block the pop ups. As I am later shutting down my computer, lo and behold there is pamela's comment box! Weird!

it's still a mystery to me and I hadn't realised about the label function showing as new post; I did a lot of re-labelling a while back so goodness know what showed up on bloglines.

I didn't know this either, thanks for telling me! I always forget to put tags on my posts... then do it a week later. :D

Oh yes! I loved your empty nest post. Did I comment on that one? Sometimes I'm reading in bloglines and then I click on another name and tell myself I'll comment later - I nearly always forget to comment on something. :)

I still do not understand it - but I am glad that you do :)

Hi Pamela,
There is a way to relabel without them showing up in bloglines. I'll send you the link on how to do it if you're interested!
xo

If Susie gives you that link, please share it!

I know I edit old posts all the time and am always self-conscious doing it because you bloglines people know ALL about it... !

I can't do bloglines. Technologically incompetent. Nice to know someone uses them, though.

Pamela, you are so much more technically savvy than me. I'm not kidding. I have some catching up to do. Your blog looks great!

Dear pamela. I noticed all of them coming through on my google reader - which I use occasionally - but had no idea what was going on!
