Fun Monday #38, Shirts and Hats

Willowtree, the dictatorial host (his admission), has asked to see some clothing art. Make sure you click here to see the list of all the participants.

These aren't necessarily artsy items that I have chosen to share. But, you may figure out why each came to mind when WT mentioned T-shirts and Caps. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

I got this shirrt four perticipatin ina sppeling bea. It wazzent my seezon, if yoo no what I mean Verne. Anyhooz, the husbunned wheres it to werk in the yawrd.

Someone gave this to the hubby to remind him that he came from a family that didn't laugh at "natural bodily functions," and married into one that does.

We flew to Hawaii on a Saturday (2002) and the next day my father in law had a heart attack. Before flying out the following morning,we (in a daze) purchased pineapples and T-Shirts at the Airport. At home Hubby stopped by his "office" wearing this shirt. It could have been a very sticky situation. Fortunately, someone who knew he was grieving for his father took him aside and suggested that he change his shirt. It really is a beautiful shirt. He looks great in the color, so he wears it around the house.

A friend brought me this T-Shirt hundreds of years ago. I have worn it to shreds. I still love it.

You're just so daggum pretty to be so full of GAS! HA!

I like your ol' favorite, even though I couldn't begin to say it even with the "primer".

And, geez, Pamela...did you ever make it back to Hawaii??? :/

Your "good sport" tee reminded me of "Miss Congeniality"...is that really what you were after? ;)

It was the spelling on the shirt that I didn't notice for about 6 months that had me in knots.

No. We haven't made it back to Hawaii. BUT... last year our daughters brought Hawaii to our back yard for our 30th anniversary.

Your Fun Monday post has it all; clothing glorifying spellling, methane, and pot. Better than that you have included a fun video of you correctly naming the Hawaiian fish with the name that is a mouthful. You have made this a Fun Monday indeed except that it is really Sunday.

I love the vid! Can you come and read bedtime stories to me...I love your voice...soothing. Ok, enough of that.

Oh, I forgot, happy belated birthday!

I like the way you presented your items. Lovely pictures, very professional.

Must have been fun breaking him into the family! Did it take him long to relax?

Well now, nothing like rubbing it in not being able to win the spelling bee!! [I DID make sure you weren't pulling a fast one on us and not catch anything misspelled on the shirt!! But it's an 'all clear to pass']. Ya, I'd let hubby wear it in the garden too.

HAVE A FUN MONDAY.

i do like the pineapple shirt, even with the sad story behind it.

aren't pineapples supposed to be a symbol of good luck? they're sometimes carved into woodwork in old houses.

(next fun monday: take pictures of the woodwork in your house.... ok, maybe not.)

Great shirts and a great hat! Thanks for explaining the CH4 - I wonder if our local NBC affiliate knows what their channel designation means!

(Hope you had a great birthday.)

Who in the world doesn't find humor in bodily functions. I thought that was why we had them! Great shirts.

HA! I didn't notice the spelling at first, either.

And the shirt featuring "Maui Wowee" is PRICELESS. I'm sure m@ will be coming to steal it from you.

Okay, I really love the red shirt, no matter what type of flora is depicted. It's just a nice shirt. Besides, I'd like to try wearing that to see how many people noticed.
Hey, a good explosion of methane is good for the body.... I just finished watching ALL your videos and got quite a kick out that little blonde girl. The fishing net was okay but I wondered why. Is it part of the decor? You handle those big words quite well even though the spelling was a little off on the one shirt.:)
Maybe I should participate in this one. I *love* silly t-shirts.

My mom brought a t-shirt like your husband's Hawaiian one home from Holland and proudly presented it to my brother-in-law as a gift. We didn't have the heart to tell her the big leaf on it was marijuana.

Karisma: no, in fact he taught the two youngest to be champion burpers. Unbelievable air rippers.

Tiggerlane: Sexy? That's not how I sound to myself. Hearing ourselves on tape is uncomfortable to say the least.

beccy: you're darned tootin'
no...reference Hawaii.

Katie: you can hear the waterfall in the background

Ramblin: The fishing net is to keep the Blue Heron OUT and save the fish -

Too bad about your Hawaii trip. Nice shirt though. I like the caption on the cap. I could never say what is on your favourite shirt. Good array of clothing art.

WOW! I don't have a clue how you said that word! I'm duly impressed!! And, the spelling bee is priceless.

I am so glad you gave us a video with sound so we could hear how to say that word!!! Your Voice is LOVELY and yes Tiggerlane is right about the sexy too! I fixed that problem with my post.

Got a kick out your spelling bee LOL And it was so cool to hear how to pronounce the last t-shirt's name! I did have to pee after though. The sound of water does that to me :o)

What Fun shirts Pamela! At first, I missed the spellling on the first one, and I didn't even notice the pot on the Hawaii one, I was distracted by your beautiful plants.

You do have a lovely voice, very relaxing. But I still can't say what the name of the fish is. You say it so much better.

Another fun post!
