He Is Perfect

So my middle daughter says, of her son born at noon today.

7 pounds 5 ounces.

he's got
All his fingers, all his toes.
His mommy's eyes, and his daddy's nose
grandma's smile, and grandpa's hair
but grandpa's head is nearly bare!

Welcome... uh... I think I'm going to call him Dinkum.

Congratulations grandma !! I hope his father has a cute nose !

Terrible souvenir for you that your friend died in such a horrible accident. The day I heard about his death my american aunt was here with a severe pneumonia and really I thought she would die too. But she made it.

Ok...I don't think it was Karmyn. Was it Amanda or the mysterious non-blogging other daughter?

Oh, congratulations! I actually can't wait to be a grandma. Babies are adorable, but, let's face it, time to oneself occasionally is pretty darn wonderful too..

Have fun spoiling him!

Dinkum. He's going to hate that name when he gets to be about 12!! Being Grandma, though, you might be able to get away with it.
