Fun Monday - Five Words, Five Pictures

Nekked Lizard Adventures is hosting todays Fun Monday.
There are two Nekked Lizards, so I'm assuming they are co-hosting.
They gave us an assignment with some parameters:

FIVE PICTURES - FIVE WORDS PER PICTURE.

I guess they wanted less jabberwocky. Well I'm ready to shut up and go 5 x5. Are you?

A favorite place to walk!

The sky reveals a raptor.

The brush conceals the deer.

Gopher snakes enjoy the sun.

And I enjoy it all!

Please sign up to join the fun. Or, just pop over to the hosts blog to find all the participating links. I know the Nekked Lizards will welcome you.

One more Fiver: They are not really nekked.

No, we are not really nekked, that would be a travesty - you are right, but the little lizards and other creatures around our ranch run around sans clothing, so we pride ourselves as the proprietors - protecting their rights not to wear anything that would detract them from getting eaten by birds of prey - who also incidently do not wear clothing... boy did I get of track.... your pictures remind me of our place... great views... They're NOT NEKKID??? Are you sure??? You have just blown my whole image of NLM and NLL...*sigh*

Anyhoo...LOVE your pics and the captions are good! The deer and the snake are my faves. FOr some reason, alot of folks have been posting snake pictures this week. Odd...

Have a great week!
These are great views, and I love the photo. I would have peed my pants if I had stumbled upon the snake though.

What gorgeous photos and you "captioned" them so well. Why am I not surprised?
And, yes, they are too nekked. They don't shower with their clothes on.

REQUEST: Have all your readers sign up for Karmyn's Shower. I'm not blogging much and won't be for the next week. The link takes them to the "original" post. I will "advertise" it more when I return home.

So pretty. I love wide open spaces. Hey, isn't that a song?

Beautifully lovely, can I walk with you? Do those snakes eat gophers?!
Wonderful pictures, as always.
Joy T. said…
Beautiful beautiful beautiful! We could use some of those gopher snakes around here because the gophers in our subdivision are multiplying like crazy the last couple of years. Unless it's just the name of the snake and they don't eat gophers at all. And in that case, forget I said anything at all :o)

Gorgeous photos! Absolutely beautiful! The deer photos is particularly striking...for sure!

I would walk a lot more if I had that scenery.....much more enjoyable than walking with lots of car exhaust around my neighborhood in downtown Atlanta!

That was lovely. What a really pretty and peaceful looking place to be.

What a lovely place you live, Pamela!

I am jealous of the wide open spaces, very pretty and peaceful!

I can see WHY you would enjoy your walks, although I might be really freaked out if I crossed a snake's path, even if it were a gopher snake as good looking as your photo.

I'm so hoping the one of the gopher snake was with a telephoto and lots of cropping! *shivers*

The animal in the last shot on my blog is a meerkat from the LA Zoo.

Oooh! I wanna come walk with you in your favourite place but only if you tell the snakes to stay away! Im not too keen on snakes unless they are behind glass or at least ten feet away from my feet!

I enjoyed your photos and captions for Fun Monday this week! It’s cool the way you put your ‘copyright’ and blog name on the pictures … and I realize I should probably be doing the same thing, but isn’t it time-consuming? I posted my Fun Monday at Small Reflections yesterday but didn’t have time to visit until today. I hope you’ll drop by when time permits.
Hugs and blessings,
