Adorable! Oddly enough I have the sudden desire to tuck one of those birds into my shirt pocket (if I had a shirt pocket), its little head poking out just enough for me to feed it crumbs throughout the day.
Is that weird?

I need to rub that soft fur on my face. I'm sure the bird won't mind. By the way, I'm feeling your pain with having to retype the name and address--blogger makes me do it for every blogger comment I make. Grr.
I love these pretty birds. I took a handful of pictures quite similar to this one several months back up here in our neck of the woods. Nice shot Pamela.
We had one of the knocking at my kitchen window one day. I didn't see him at first and thought, "who is knocking". The I saw his head. Bold little guy.
Beautiful! What kind of bird is that? Beautiful! Thank you for your thoughts. I have an update of momma. Not much of one, thou. See ya in a few days. I'm back to the hospital.
We have one that sort of looks like that in our back yard. He/she killed a palm tree in my yard by pecking a hole at the base of the top where the palm fronds sprout. I loved that tree, but didn't mind, 'cause the bird was even cooler to watch.
Oh my goodness....that is ONE beautiful photo!!! Your camera must have a very powerful zoom lens. Wish I could get some good closeups of bird -wildlife- like this one.

Don't think he'd stick around for THAT, though!

You have captured an amazing picture.
I like the little bird's red smudge :)
This morning in the snow, I had 2 large woodpeckers playing out in my front yard. They were fun to watch.
Thats a great picture!
Have a great (belated) WW!
My post: Ergonomics.

I love your bucket list, too.

I keep stopping by to get my pamela fix....
I DO still like the photo though!
Hope your weekend is treating you well.
