Fishmobile

We saw this interesting traveling Fish store on Saturday when we we made a six- hour drive for Buttercup's belated birthday party.

There's NO WAY I would feel safe buying fish like this. Heck, I don't feel safe around fish as it is....did you buy any?

you know it's good fish when it's sold out of the back of a van. I don't know about school buses though.

now that's my kind of picture taking!

Did you talk to the people who were selling the fish? Were they on their way to a Mountain Man Camp?

We see fishmobiles up here fairly often, but since i don't eat fish (except sushi) it's a moot point.

Wouldn't be too good after six hours in the car. Take it you didn't take some to Buttercup's party then?!

As others have said I would worry about the freshness and food safety issues. But they must be able to sell the fish or they wouldn't do it. I guess it's similar to our farmers markets that set up in car parks and fields and I buy from these sources and have never come to harm.

I've seen those before when we lived in Oregon. Not so much here since you get get it at the docks and such though. I'm not sure if I would buy off of one of those things but I actually know there have been people from here that do that and make pretty good money doing it. Usually there is refridgeration in the vehicle though I can't tell if there is any in that bus!
