The Perfect Zinnia

I got up at 6:45 am and ground some coffee and set the brew.

My favorite morning activity is drinking coffee while sitting on the patio in my pajamas. Old pajamas.
Really old.

This morning I decided to water all my potted plants while I waited for that first cup of Joe.

I have potted plants in the front entrance, too.
PerfectZinna

That was where I was when I heard my elderly neighbor Bill call.

"Hey Pam - I've got something to show you!"

I couldn't pretend I didn't hear him just because I was in my pajamas. Old pajamas. Really old.

AND... I had yet to brush my hair but it was covered by my ever present sun hat.

Before I crossed the street I looked both ways to make sure there wasn't any other neighbor out there getting the opportunity to see me in my pajamas. Old pajamas. Really old.

"Look!" Exclaimed Bill. "I have a perfect zinnia.

"Awwwww...," I responded when I saw it. "It truly is the perfect zinnia."

So I took a photo of it while I was wearing my pajamas. Old Pajamas. Really old.

Which could be why I sleep in shorts and a t-shirt.
Dear pamela. I think that lovely flower is worth your being seen in public in your old pjs!

No problem being out in old jammies. Now if they are threadbare and holy in all the wrong places, well THEN ya got a problem. That pretty zinnia was well worth the visit though.

Oh dear! Hopefully you were covered in all the right places!! At least you had a sun hat on! I hate it when I run out with the dog and the neighbor stops to chat!! It is a beautiful flower!
really old pajamas are the perfect outfit for photographing perfect zinnias!

Now what a coincidence I answered the door to two of my neighbours yesterday morning in my old PJ's. One came bearing gift (kidney beans-the other wanted to tell me he'd seen people lurking the night before and to see if anything was missing from the garden). I bet people thought I was some eccentric old biddy out there peering around in pj's LOl.

The flower looks beautiful.

That certainly is a nice Zinnia but a photo of you in your pjs, old pjs, really old, now that would be something.

This sounds completely normal to me. How many times I was in the street in my Egyptian djellaba, unwashed, uncombed to rescue the neigbor's dog to get inside the gate, or help the cleaning women with the alarm of another neighbor's house, or just have a chat with a neighbor while putting out the bins. She too in a very very old pjs ! So nobody would pay attention to you here in our street !

Sounds like you and the neighbor are on good terms. lol. I've loaded the boys up and gone thru the drive thru in pjs and flip flops. *gasp*

Hi Pamela ~~ Your neighbor probably only had eyes for his zinnia. It surely is nice. Glad you liked Geoff's home,it is really
is beautiful inside too.
I debated whether to put that joke on about 'Hang on to her ears' It
was in reply to bridle/bridal suite. Take care, Love, Merle.

Pam, this is to answer your question, the refugees are from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Somali, Ethiopia, I think Congo too (not sure) and Sudan. it was massive, it was like a city with shops, schools, hospitals and many many people

Personally I would have rather seen a picture of you in the REALLY OLD PAJAMAS. I'm not much of a gardener myself, having killed a chia pet once.

Aww, so glad you went to look.
