Camouflaged Sidewalk

Someone else had the same idea today as did I. A walk in the park. I doubt she left her house with the thought that her distant image would show up on a stranger's camera, much less a blog. Whoever she be, I appreciate her accidental posing for me with such grace. A few weeks ago I would have sworn that we would be knee-deep in snow by now. But, here it is, November 2, and the fall weather has been most appealing. We trudge through carpets of leaves and sparkling showers of much needed rain. I lift my thanks for the sunshine that sneaks between the clouds and smiles through all the colors.
I do love autumn.

I agree. This has been a splendid fall. The street and trees here are just beautiful. We do live in a beautiful corner of this world, don't we?

Just beautiful! Love those fall colours! (No UFO's in my picture, purely a slip of the finger when I was resizing it in gimp! I drew it accidentally)

The fallen leaves ate our driveway.

I love walking through the leaves hearing the crunch under your feet.

I’m glad you decided to take your camera along on your lovely walk. We don’t see much ‘autumn color’ here in Southern California at the beach, so I thoroughly enjoy fall vicariously by looking at what bloggers like you share. Thanks ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
That's a beautiful picture. Now, that's what autumn is supposed to look like!

Many sweet blessings!

Buttercup says "I love the trees."

I love them too but don't want to rake them.

I felt as you, and just knew we'd be nearing snow by now but today it was 75! That's unheard of for any November day in Wisconsin.

I love your shot and those trees are magnificent! Our trees are bare now so I can really appreciate yours!

Beautiful photo :)

I usually dislike fall, since it means the end of summer and the start of a long winter, not to mention the short, dark days, but this fall I have appreciated its beauty.

A gorgeous photo. We have fewer leaves here after such wind storms but we too have been enjoying very mild temperatures for the season (but not for long I hear).

I live about an hour from Dawn so I'm with her on that wind storm. Whatever leaves were left, were blown into another Province! It's been very mild here and very unusual for us. Gorgeous photo!

Great perspective. I was driving down the "lane" today surrounded by trees turning with color and the feeling was wonderful. What was a dark and shaded road over the summer, was brightly lit with the light filtered through the bright yellows and oranges.

I'm taking my camera tomorrow. Hopefully, the light will be right and I have the ability to capture it.

I wish we could go for a walk. Just too nice.

Here in California it only JUST finally got cool.

Thank goodness for THAT.

I was SO SORRY TO HEAR about your sister!

Dang it and rats times infinity. There just aren't words.

Gorgeous photo. I love the perspective on this. Yeah, our weather has been unseasonably warm, too, but we've suddenly gotten cooler.

This is really pretty. I love that the sidewalk just abruptly disappears. I need to get out and take some pictures of my own before the leaves are all gone!
