Up Over from Down Under

When I arrived home from work there was an envelope waiting for me from Willow Tree, NSW Australia.

Why? Because of Mappa Tassie.

I decided to inspect it closely.
Note: There was a Dangerous Goods Statement.
Note: It was addressed to a Tough Bag. Oooooouch!

Note: I opened it carefully and peaked inside. No poisonous snakes or spiders.

Awwwwwww! Surprise. An Australian Flag, Australian Flag Stickers, and Australian Flag Tattoos. And, a 3 phase fridge magnet. Bobble your head and choose between wombats, Koalas and Kangaroos. This is fun!

Does it get any better than that.
YES!

Here is my 2008 Birds of Australia Calendar. You can't impress better than this.

Thank you so much Peter. It will hang above my computer desk and I will enjoy it every day next year.

Aww. Love the calendar! It's cold enough here to wear my Australia bank robbery hat now. Pete obviously loves you and thinks I am a potential criminal.

I hope you have an AMERICAN flag over that one on your desk, Pam. :(

Cause this is America... and if you don't like it, get the f*ck out!

M@ is so crass! So unnecessary! Ugh! He needs prayer ----

Anyway, I am happy to say I am so happy for you! What wonderful gifts. I did my senior research paper on Australia and loved it. I want to travel there someday of course.

Enjoy your gorgeous calendar and delete the above remark from M@...so trashy!

I agree with kaytabug. Willowtree's snarkiness is all an act.

But I secretly think he's sucking up to get one of your card creations!

hahahaha! You were right to be cautious....but it was a very nice gift!! Beautiful Calendar!! See....he really IS a nice guy!

Just lovely, aren't they? There is nothing better than seeing these birds flying free every day. On the coast where I live they are quite common, stopping by our front yards for a visit. In Sydney (where I grew up, they were only in cages). It never ceases to amaze me that they are actually wild birds. Not just somebodies pets. I must remember to take pictures when I see them.
