Rows

I have been tardy for every occasion the past few months. So it is with posting my first Thematic Photograph hosted by Carmi. He is one of my favorite Wordless Wednesday participants.

About last week's theme he said, " Basically, anything that lines up is fair game."

I blog in an agricultural valley, so it was easy to find photographs that I could use with "rows" that I had snapped over the past year.

It is my pleasure to present to you: Food for more than thought.

grapes

apples

wheat

Carmi at Written, Inc is an inspiring read. You really ought to click over to his blog and enjoy his creative vision.

I love looking at agricultural country, especially when flying. Talk about art work. Just finished reading your blog about your Aunt Deloris... what a great story. Reminded me of the time I took about 10 Cub Scouts home in my semi and it was fun. They were all perched on the edge of the sleeper like a bunch of crows on a wire. Needless to say their parents were quite surprised at how they got home. Have a nice day.

Hey Pamela,

GLAD you decided to post these, late or not. As long as the theme is still current (which it is), there's no time like the present! Your fabulous pictures reminded me I have some similar...now, if only I can remember how they're archived :/.

And my philosophy, bettah late than NEVAH!

:)

I believe I have driven through that corridor!

Farm land galore.

Nice photos.

I just got caught up on the posts I missed. Great story about Aunt Deloris, and cool leaf photo ... and could caboose be any cuter? I think not.

Comments are on all posts, if you wish to browse.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Pamela. I appreciate your sentiment very much!

I love how you've chosen to interpret the theme in this series of photos. I can feel the sheer size of the environment in all of these! How lucky you are to have these vistas every day.

If rows of corn are called corn rows, then are rows of wheat called bread rows and rows of grapes called wine rows? Love the photos. Will take your advice and head over to see what's going on at Carmi's.

Good rows, good post. I wish I could get my office as neat as these farmers keep their fields. Oh well. Sorry I've not stopped by for a while.

These pictures remind me so much of the Columbia Basin I left when I moved north. The wheat picture is amazing the way you caught the fields, hills, clouds, and sky.
