The Anemones Still Bloom

I am encouraged by the tenacity of the Anemones pink blossoms that bend and decorate the old log that WR placed near the pond.

I never knew the proper name of these flowers, they are so beautiful.

I hope they offer a log of encouragement.

They are really pretty - I bet the cool purples reflect nicely on the pond surface waters...

With all the rain we got lately all flowers gave up their souls and it looks very much like autumn here !
It's amazing that we still have feet and paws instead of flippers !
Pretty little things! I hope you are having a lovely Fall! :)

I love still seeing blossoms this time of year. I have some nice little beach flowers that I've been enjoying.
I saw the name of those and had to go look it up. Where I grew up anemones were sea creatures. How fun to learn that they are also lovely flowers!

Take care and find encourgement where you can.

sooo beautiful! My garden is looking so dry and lack luster at the moment. I am envious for sure! Fall is in the air here now though so I think things will perk back up and I should get some new blooms soon! =]

I love this picture...esp. with the yellow peeping in from the bottom left, contrasting with the pinkish/purplish in the opposite corner.

It does seem more like spring than fall. I love the word anemone, lol. It's just fun to say and I love the look of those pink blooms by the dead log. :)
