Fun Monday #17 The favorite ----
Today's Fun Monday is being hosted by Willowtree. He wants to see our favorite Coffee Mug, our favorite glasses for drinks of any kind, and for extra credit even our favorite plate. He said we could get creative.
I'm going to stick with the mugs.
A precious gift from a Japanese Exchange Student.
Masami stayed with us eleven years ago and has kept in touch. She returned to spend Christmas with us one year and presented me with my very first FINE CHINA as a Gift.
It was a starter set ofMikasa oh oh.. I did this too late at night. It is Noritake. My TO DO list has a notation to complete this set one day. For now, I enjoy looking at it.
This stonewear is my preferred coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drinking mugs. They fit perfectly in my palms and warm my fingers.
We have many other mugs that we have collected over the years.
We have colorful mugs, advertising mugs, souvenir mugs, mismatched sets of mugs... you get the picture. Some of you may remember the one with the moose turds. I' m sparing you all the pain of viewing any more of those choice collectors items.
Pete did say we could get creative with our post. So, I have decided to share with you the mug I have loved the longest. I do worry a little about what he will say when he sees this. Earlier today I asked him to make a face while I was testing the digital camera. That was the truth. It was only tonight when I decided to stick with the mug portion of Fun Monday that this creation came to be. In Picture It, anyway.
Please visit A Dingo Got My Barbie and check out his side bar for all the participants.

My mother loved Mikasa, they make real quality.
You sure do have a mean streak in you, and I'm sure Wal agrees!
i have a wide variety of coffee mugs at home!
ps. I'd forgotten about the turd mug so I just revisited ... now I remember why I forgot. LOL
CUTE!
Which is an addiction in itself, of course.
And Wal's "mug"!! Hee!! You're so punny!! Put his mug on a mug!!
Love your China Mikasa set . and those stone mugs will be nice to have my soup in..
I meant to tell you that I like your new picture at the top!..needless to say we don't need very good excuses not to clean house! lol
Love that "mug"! :D
(BTW, I have Part 1 of the wedding saga up...whew...so good to be home!) ;)
Have a great week, Pamela! (And sorry to be late saying it but I love the new look!)
Thanks for visiting my blog earlier. I finally got my Fun Monday up;). Not quite as cute as the fox cub yesterday....;) but it was fun participating!
And yet, this one is equally perfect. Well done!
As for the last mug though, I imagine it'd be quite a surprise if you opened up your cupboard one groggy morning and found that face razzing you like so :-D
