I visited a bird park recently and took many photos of the birds, the heron was one of them.

Nice. We see herons around here, mostly white ones though. Some people call our cattle heron 'cause they hang around cattle.

This is beautiful, Pam! I was out taking photos of the sunrise here at the lake this morning. I saw two Blue Herons. Not close enough for my lens, though!

How awesome!! We used to live in a house by a river up here in Wisconsin, and every morning there was a blue heron out there. It was so beautiful. I miss that house for that reason only.
