Water Them and Watch Them Grow

Last year I posted a photo at the first of each month of these three grandchildren that are growing up in our valley.  I'm sorry I haven't remained so faithful.

But, on this first day of June the hot summer sun came out to invite them to run and laugh and to beg grandpa and grandma to turn on the sprinkler.   The camera came out, too.

Hi Pamela...good to see a post here! Your grands are growing so fast. Nothing like water to keep kids entertained for hours!!!

Why can't adults be this happy with something simple? Makes me smile to see these pics. Like you, I haven't been as faithful with posting FOTM. My subject this year requires me to drive to the other side of town and just can't squeeze it in a lot of months. Care giving for my sister has tested both my stamina and spirit this year. Tell my friends to check the papers for a murder-suicide in the neighborhood. . .

Well, if I could run around in my underwear and not worry about anyone watching, I'd be happy too.

What delightful photos! And this is still the age where you can show off your fun and cool undies.
In the words of Calvin:“What’s the point of wearing your favorite rocketship underpants if nobody ever asks to see ‘em?”(Calvin and Hobbes)
Now that looks like fun! :)

Nice to see that children still run through the sprinkler...such a fun childhood past-time and memory.

I'm with Far Side. That looks like a whole bunch of fun! It has been so hot here, I'd be tempted to strip down and run through the sprinkler too (the neighbors would undoubtably complain about the strip down part!)
