Writing gives me another
excuse not to clean house.
Home !
We've been on a road trip for two weeks. Last night we drove I-84 over Cabbage Hill (Blue Mountains) and stopped to look at the last 45 minutes of road to home.
Beautiful shot! I figured you were gone..I was getting a little worried about you..hope you share some of your travels after you rest up! My brother called on Thursday..he said that was the day that summer arrived because it was not raining and it was 75 degrees, that was south of Portland:)
As much as I love to travel, it's always good to come home. Which is why I refuse to consider Danny's idea of someday selling our house and buying one of those big RVs to live/travel in. I don't need one of those monsters to travel (there's no way I would drive it!) and I want to always be able to come home to rest and get ready for our next adventure.
Ah ! that's why you disappeared from Blogworld to drive through patchworks. The Blue Mountains are usually very beautiful if I remember well ! Home sweet home ? Yes maybe it's true, lol !

You're fortunate to have a place to call "home". I finally found mine. Took me 39 years!
And yes, there is no place like home. :) Welcome home... I hope you greatly enjoyed your trip!
