Put a Raisin in My Belly Button

Every local school is selling frozen cookie dough as a fund raiser.

I just can't say NO.

I bought a carton from every student who knocked.

I'm going to turn into a cookie.

Just preheat the oven to 350o and hand me a raisin.

Thank goodness they're not knocking here ! I dont think I'd be able to say no either. Last thing I need in my house is pounds and punds of frozen cookie dough to distract me from my diet...oops I meant my change in eating habits.

there was an old joke I can't really remember..but do know the punch line was something like, "I'm going to put a raisen in my belly button and go as a cookie"...

I haven't bought the cookie dough in a very long time. I tell you what I miss...the frozen pastries. Loved the cheese filled ones. Can't find it anywhere, in stores and none of the kids in the family or neighborhood seem to be selling it.

I don't think I could wait to make the cookies. Just give me the tub and a spoon.

Frozen cookie dough never makes it to the oven at my house. Yum!

Never mind the oven - by the spoonful straight out of the freezer is the best way to eat it! (Says the mom who lets her kids make cookie dough just to eat the dough and never bother making cookies!)

Heh heh. My kids turn in their orders today after a two week sale. Good thing we don't live closer to you!

LOL We'll just call you Gingerbread Pam. Love the title of this post LOL We used to have kids selling the cookie dough around here too but darn it anyway if those kids haven't grown up....and no young ones have replaced them yet :o(
i'll take a few of those off your hands ... after you've baked em.

Do you think the cookie dough will thaw before you can get it FedExed to me?
I have plenty of raisins and a spoon.

Love that stuff. Raw or baked. It doesn't matter.

No cookie dough in Australia as far as I know, but I'll send you some raisins.

It's that time of year here too. I buy the cookies from the grands, bake them and promptly send them (mostly) all home with the grands!
Less temptation that way!

So when's the party? I'm assuming we can all help you eat those cookies. :)

Oh, yes...love that cookie dough!

At least when it's Girl Scout time, I limit myself to only one box a year...which is SO hard since for $3.50 it disappears within two hours! :)

We're selling too. I should say we were selling it. We just distributed the cookie dough this week - what a PAIN! Lots of kids didn't pick up their dough - my freezer is FULL.

Greeaaat! Way to send my omphalophobia into overdrive right before bedtime after I've already had a late night cup of coffee. Oh well, maybe the nightmares will make for good blog fodder.

I just had to pop over and tell you that your comment at my place was classic. Oh, to have your sense of humor and quick wit...
"pumping stations"
And I didn't think anyone would notice those.

LOL, good for you! When I buy some, it usually gets eaten before it sees the inside of the oven!

HI! ^^

I'm one of Wendster’s daughters “Squeakers”. Thought I'd stop by and say hi!

But I also MUST add that I love your header. The writing in the dust is cool! I wish I had a lot of dust to do that. =/ lol

Hi Pamela,
How have you been? You are a good woman. I prefer not to buy fundraising food items that need to be cooked. The poor seller has to keep the items frozen, and the buyer needs to be careful as well. Sometimes, when kids try to sell me stuff at school, I offer a donation instead of making a purchase.
