Great gardens, Pamela. I am so in love with my little endeavor this year. I'm out there all the time cooing to it. :o)
Last year's flower garden was gorgeous! I've got a black thumb so I dont bother. Besides many flowers irritate my already existing allergies. I do have a nice batch of irises though. I cant take credit because they were here when we rented the house. I leave them alone and they pop up nicely in the spring. I have a shot of one of them in my header pic on my Main page... (the I've got to be Blog).
I'm jealous ! The plants in my poor little garden won't see my shadow much this summer !

we came back late last night after two weeks away to SPRING!!! it's blossom time--lilacs, tulips, lilies of the valley, apple blossoms, everything going nuts. so lovey. so fragrant.
