A Trillion ....

I've been busy doing a million things around here -instead of blogging this week - and figured if I ramped it up a little bit I could increase my busyness to a trillion. You know...get some stimulus going here!

Walker at Subtle Oak has c.h.a.n.g.e.d my mind.

She directed me to the Trillion Dollar tutorial over at PageTutor.com. You really need to click on the link and view the complete Google Sketchup they prepared. What a perspective!

Mr. Red $hirt down here has a million dollars at his feet.

Look very closely. Mr. Red $hirt is still there beside this Trillion Dollar Pile.

Look again. He's down down here in the

right left hand corner. (WT caught me being dyslexic again.)

Oh wow! I read somewhere that you would have to spend about a million (or two million) a day since the days of Jesus to today to equal the amount of money spent in the stimulus package. Crazy.

Well maybe I am just dumb and all, but I see your three kids with my six and the off casts (today that would be around six extra's) that hang on around here! And I see your squares there, but they just don't get me going with the thought process and all. Yep Im NOT getting it! PLEASE DO EXPLAIN, email would be fine, but explain in proper Linguish okay?

Holy crap! I knew it was quite a difference, but that visual really does put it into perspective. Still, when they say that the pork is such a small percentage, they are still talking in the millions (or is it billions?) and that's a freakin' lot of money. I really liked that stimulus plan that someone mentioned of just giving $250,000 to each citizen over 18. I know I'd feel pretty danged stimulated by that. That would pay off all our loans and credit card debt and we'd still have a HUGE amount left to go out and "stimulate the economy" by buying crap.

And now if they were to make an Austin Powers movie the bad guy would have to say "ONE TRIIIIIILIIIION dollars". holy sheesh.

Wow! That really puts it in perspective, doesn't it!

Ah to be able to toss a trillion dollars around. I would not mind curling and bench pressing some of that weight.

That's a pile of money there Pamela!!!

BTW most of the convicts were transported for between 7 years and life, usually for theft (serious criminals were hung at home in England) transportation stopped when the authorities realized they would be unable to stop defection to the goldfields.
Back in the 1850's our convict population was probably still a quarter of the total population so they made a large percentage of the work force.

Maybe they were dyslexic when they wrote Trillion instead of Million or Billion... It could happen! Gosh anything is plausable given the world enviroment right now!

Now that is the type of stimulus package I would like to receive from the government. And I promise to spend it all to help the economy.
