Pensieve's Poetic License ~ Limerick

The following are two entries for Robins Pensieve's Poetic License.

What can I say? How can I get serious about Limericks. They are too much fun.

There once was a guy name’o Arnie

Who only liked chili con carne

But on St Paddy’s Week

He tried Bubble & Squeak

And a green beer to wash down the Blarney

There once was a green leprechaun

Who conserved and recycled - doggone!

And… about global warming

She cried: “I’m informing--

You all that my Hot Flash is ON!”

Have a wonderful day filled with poetry Robin.... and all the rest of you, too! Read more HERE!

At first I thought you were callin' ME names in that second one ;). Both are GREAT entries for this month (and yes, I'm GLAD you're back!).

You've got a mean streak of "funny"...so glad "it" came out to play today :).

These are terrific... you are very creative!

So, are you single handedly responsible for global warming or is it our combined hot flashes that create the green house effect?

Great job, Pamela! You do know how to turn a phrase (and a pun too! Loved your comment on Pimerella! I agree you write better than I do!

LOL! That is very good! Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Momma is better. She is on Home Health Care. NExt week will be her last.. (They only put her on for 3 weeks) We have a nurse that comes 2 days and a Theropist 2 days, but they only stay about an hour and we have to stay the rest. I'm not really sure she will be able to stay alone after her time is up, but maybe I wont have to stay as much.

These are great... I have a student that loves to write limericks. I had another student that came and visited your area last week-end. He loved seeing spring a bit ahead of us.
