Huh? Do you mean metaphorically in terms of life, or geographically in terms of that tunnel?

Yes to both of Willowtree's questions. . .

I'm finally seeing LIGHT at the end of one of my tunnels. . .It's amazing the relief I feel from it too!

Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is a train coming the other direction. D'oh!

Ah, yes...what a question!

WEll, everyone said everything I was going to say. So, I'll just ASK a question: What IS on the other side of THAT tunnel? Will we see the picture on tommorow's post?

Well, I could get into the whole philosophy Pamela's inspired here, but I'm married to a scientist who's corrupted me with thoughts of worm holes and alternate realities.

I always wonder what they are, but I'm sure there's only good things ahead!

very nice photo...
has such depth...

I always wonder what will be waiting on the other side. I don't think I could turn around just before a tunnel or entrance... I have to see the other side... curiosity.

Boy! WT's on fire today! Everywhere I've gone, he's left clever quips!

When I look at that, I can't help but think about how on earth did they ever construct that tunnel? Was anyone killed in the process?

So let's go explore. You get the flashlight. I'll open the imagination. Cough. cough. Sorry, ran into a couple of cobwebs.

No - actually what I think about is who was the person who wrote the graffiti on that wall - and why did they chose to write it there? Were they afraid they would get caught when they did it? Is it a personal message for someone? Did they write it in the dark? Who did they want to read it? Is there graffiti on the other side as well? Are they responses to each other. Is it more than one person? Oh - the list goes on.

Looked like grass and trees and what not. But just in case your question was spiritual in nature, I don't want to know what's on "the other side" of that tunnel until I'm standing at the pearly gates...assuming that's where I end up, of course.

Oh my gosh, I have to tell you this...

When my brothers were in college and we went to visit them, the exit we turned off on was RIGHT BEFORE a tunnel like that. I never had the opportunity to go THROUGH the tunnel because we never had reason to go past that certain exit. And I ALWAYS wondered what was on the other side.

Well, it turns out, my HUSBAND was on the other side .... literally. The town he grew up in was a few exits past the tunnel.

LOL

We have this tunnel on the H3 freeway. On one side is a very industrial area. When you go through the tunnel, all you see is green mountains and blue ocean. It's like you stumbled into a whole different world!
